Craig Warren, Ph.D. Scientific Affairs Director
Craig Warren was appointed to the position of Scientific Affairs Director in 2003 and has served on SOSI’s Industry and Scientific Advisory committees for over 10 years. He has worked in the field of olfactory science for more than 30 years.
He has participated in product development, fragrance development and selection, and has developed malodor counteractants and methods for the measurement of the behavioral affect of aroma on humans.
Dr. Warren is currently a Visiting Scholar at The Chemosensory Perception Laboratory at the University of California - San Diego. Previously, he spent 23 years at International Flavors and Fragrance (IFF) where he served as Vice President and Director of Fragrance Science
Dr. Warren received his PhD in physical organic chemistry from Cornell University, a master’s degree in biochemistry from Villanova University and his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Franklin & Marshall College.
